Every wednesday night the whole lacrosse team get together in the union for a social... games, drinking, banter and then off to score to chase the opposite sex and dance like lunatics. Textbook.
This years social secretary's (the ones who run the circle) are Seb and Fran, a multi-sex controversial couple who will take on the legacy established by TnT, Tommy and Toby last year.
We meet at 7:30pm in the union (usually in the cooler) and happy hour runs from 7-8 so its worth getting their early for the cheap drinks.
Drinking games are something you will learn, and there are always "oldies" on hand to explain the games for you, so don't worry too much! Soon you'll be a pro at German Porn Star, MFS, multi-game frenzy, and bunnies to name but a few.
Drinking is not compulsory, and will never be forced upon you! However, it does aid to making the evening entertaining. Every once in a while
we also have a non-drinking circle, last year included bowling, ice skating, and a club trip to the cinema. We have also paintballed in the past, and "informal" socials (i.e. mates from the club) have ended up all over the world doing all sorts of things (Kos partying-surfing-punting-etc etc) so you never know where you will end up!
To start you off Mike North explains the rules to a few of the games:
1. Twenty One
2. Variations on 21
3. Mrs Miggins
4. One up one down
5. Lifeboats
6. The Question Game
7. The F*ck Game
1. Twenty One
The game starts with somebody designating a direction by saying “Too my left/right”. They then have the option of saying one, two or three numbers in consecutive order. One number passes it on to the next person, two numbers reverses the direction and passes it back, and three numbers skips one person in the same direction. You can not double a double, triple a triple or say four singles in a row. For example if one person was to say “three four” the next person could not say “five six” because that would be two doubles (doubling a double). It carries on like that until somebody gets to the number 21. They have to drink and make up a new rule.
2. Variations
Zip Boing Bounce – Zip passes it on, boing reverses it, and bounce skips one person in the same direction.
German Porn Star – ‘Yaarrr’ passes it on, ‘Naaa’ reverses it, ‘Zat is good’ skips one in the same direction and ‘Up zee pooper’ skips one in the reverse direction. These are accompanied by actions which you will pick up at socials!
Example
A: Too my left, one
B: Two
C: Three, Four
B: Five
A: Six, Seven, Eight
E: Nine
D: Ten
C: Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen
A: Fourteen, Fifteen
B: Sixteen, Seventeen, Eighteen
D: Nineteen
E: Twenty
F: Twenty One
F looses and has to drink and make up a new rule.

Examples of rules:
Switching two numbers. For example switch 3 and 5 so the game would go. one two five four three six seven etc.
Only saying odd number so the game goes one three five seven etc
Replacing a number with a word. For example switching the number 5 with the word skin so it goes one two three four skin. That’s funny because its part of a penis…
3. Mrs Miggins
You go round the circle and everybody says “Mrs Miggins loves ______ and hates ______”. There is a rule as to whether what you have said is correct or not. The first three people will know the rule and you have to guess it. If you get it wrong you have to stand up. Everyone standing at the end drinks.
4. One up One down
This is the same format but instead of saying “Mrs Miggins…”, you say either “one up one down”, “two up” or “two down”. You have to guess the rule and drink if you get it wrong.
5. Lifeboats
Somebody starts the game by saying “one”. There is a certain number of spaces on a lifeboat and to claim a space you have to say the next number and sit down. Anybody can say the next number but if two people say the number at the same time then they both have to drink. If all the spaces get taken then everybody not on the lifeboat has to drink.
6. The Question Game
One person starts the game by standing up, saying someone else’s name and asking them a question. That person cannot answer the question or hesitate, they have to stand up and ask someone else a question. The idea is to ask controversial questions to put people off and make them hesitate.
7. The F*ck Game
Everybody has a f*ckname. For example, bum f*ck, face f*ck, corpse f*ck etc. One person starts the game by singing “whats the name of the f*cking game, what, the f*ck…” while everybody claps the beat. They then sing their f*ck name followed by someone elses to send it to them. For example “B*m fuck, what the f*ck, how about a face f*ck” sends it from bum f*ck to face f*ck. Then face f*ck would sing “face f*ck, what the f*ck, how about a ……..” and so on.
