Aberystwyth 1 @ 40 Warwick Men's Lacrosse

In a double header for the league that saw Warwick play Aberystwyth for the first time since their 18-1 victory on 03/02/07 Warwick cruised past Aberystwyth in a game where Warwick never looked troubled.

Jason Nazareth was outstadning for Warwick in goal with a career high 5 saves (0.833) whole Seb Croft was once again dominant on face-offs winning 27-30 (0.900) and Abakar Saidov 5 from 6 (0.833) and Mike North 2 from 2 (1.000). The defence was hardly troubled, while the offense was scoring from all over the shop with Mike North (6,5), Duncan Trenholme (7,4) and Croft (7,2) the pick of the bunch. In the second half Warwick fielded many second team players to gain expience, and this will continue to ensure that Warwick are strong in coming seasons.

The final whistle blew 40-1 to Warwick, setting a new record point margin and breaking their high scoring record. This has set the lads up for their larger games of the season in their hope for silver-ware this year.
